Run every standard as one system. Not five separate binders.
Most organizations don't need five management systems — they need one that satisfies every standard at once. MSI builds integrated management systems on the shared ISO structure, so quality, environmental, safety, and more live under one document architecture, one audit program, and one set of leadership rituals.
One system is cheaper, cleaner, and easier to defend.
Running ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 as three separate systems means three sets of procedures, three internal audit programs, and three management reviews covering the same ground. An integrated system collapses that duplication. The standards already share a backbone — we build on it. See how the pieces fit in our ISO consulting decoder ring.
One document set, not three.
Policy, objectives, document and record control, corrective action, management review — built once and shared across every standard. No duplicate procedures drifting out of sync.
Audit everything in one pass.
Your internal auditors are trained to audit all standards together, and registrar audits are coordinated as a combined assessment — fewer audit days, less disruption, one clear picture of system health.
Less to maintain, year after year.
Fewer management reviews, less duplicate documentation, and a single improvement loop. Integrated systems are typically faster to implement and meaningfully cheaper to keep certified.
The standards that share a backbone.
ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 7101 share the same harmonized ten-clause structure, so they integrate naturally. ISO 13485 keeps its own architecture for medical-device traceability — but still folds into one coordinated system.
Quality Management
The master key. The harmonized structure most teams already know — and the foundation most integrated systems are built around.
Learn more →Environmental Management
Adds environmental aspects, impacts, and compliance obligations to the same management-system spine — quality and environment as one program.
Learn more →Medical Devices
The exception that still integrates. It keeps its own clause architecture for regulatory traceability, but shares the documentation and audit discipline of the wider system.
Learn more →Health & Safety
Brings hazard identification, risk control, and worker safety into the same system — the natural third standard alongside quality and environment.
Learn more →Healthcare Quality
The newest standard — healthcare quality on the same harmonized structure, ready to integrate with quality and safety in health systems.
Learn more →Build Your Combination
9001 + 14001 + 45001, add 13485 for medtech, or whatever your customers and regulators require — designed as one unified system from the start.
Scope your system →The two combinations we build most.
Most organizations don't start with all five. They start with two — and the pairing they choose determines how the system gets built.
ISO 9001 + ISO 14001
The most common pairing, and the most natural. Both share the harmonized ten-clause structure, so ISO 9001 becomes the outline and the environmental requirements are inserted into the sections where they already belong. No second manual.
ISO 9001 + ISO 13485
The harder one. ISO 13485 predates the harmonized structure and keeps its own clause architecture for regulatory traceability — so it does not simply slot into the outline the way 14001 and 45001 do. It integrates, but the design pattern is different, and most consultants get this wrong.
How MSI builds an integrated system.
We don't bolt standards together after the fact. We design one system that carries all of them from day one — using the same SurePath methodology behind our 100% first-pass certification record.
Map the Overlap
We identify where your standards share requirements and where they diverge — so you build common processes once and handle the standard-specific pieces precisely.
Build One Architecture
A single document set — policy, objectives, operational controls, records — structured to satisfy every standard in scope without duplication.
One Audit Program
We train your internal auditors to audit the whole system in one program and run a full combined internal audit before any registrar sets foot on site.
Certify Together
We coordinate your registrar audits as a combined assessment, respond to findings in real time, and stay engaged through ongoing ISO maintenance — surveillance audits, year after year.
Integrated management system questions, answered.
What quality, EHS, and operations leaders ask before combining standards into one system.
Can you really combine ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 into one system?
Does ISO 13485 integrate too, or does it stand alone?
Is an integrated audit actually cheaper than separate ones?
Do we still get a separate certificate for each standard?
We're certified to one standard already. Can we add others later?
One system. Every standard. Let's scope it.
Tell us which standards you hold today and which you need next. We'll map the overlap and show you what a single integrated system would look like for your organization.
