Is a low score a compliance problem?
Not necessarily. This measures maturity, not conformity. An organization can conform to Clause 8.2 while sitting at Level 2 on most elements. What a low score tells you is where the distance is widest between what your procedure says and what would happen on the day.
Do I need to give an email to see my score?
No. Your score, your band, and the differentiator finding appear immediately. Email unlocks the element-by-element breakdown and the framework document.
We are a healthcare organization. Which do we choose?
Choose ISO 7101. The healthcare path scores a different set of eight elements, because Clause 8.2.2 covers continuity of clinical services — utilities, medical gases, nutrition and water, and evacuation of people who cannot leave unaided. Those obligations have no equivalent in the environmental or safety standards.
Which standard should I choose if we hold both?
Choose Both. The two standards set different obligations at Clause 8.2 — six against seven — and scoring against only one will miss the elements the other requires.
What if we are not certified to anything yet?
Choose Not sure yet. The elements are the same; the guidance you receive will not assume a certificate or a transition deadline.
How is the score calculated?
Each answer scores zero to three against observable behavior rather than frequency. Your percentage is your total against the maximum. The bands are calibrated so that answering at Level 2 throughout lands you in the third band, which is a legitimate place to be.
